1.Silk clothing care: After washing, air-dry in a cool, well-ventilated area with the reverse side facing up. Since silk fabrics are sensitive to sunlight exposure, direct sunning should be avoided as it may cause fading and reduced durability. This precaution is especially crucial for garments with darker or more vibrant colors. Additionally, never attempt to heat silk garments using open flames.
2.Synthetic Fiber Fabrics: After washing synthetic fabric garments, avoid sun exposure. As polyolefin fibers tend to discolor and yellow when exposed to sunlight; nylon, polypropylene, and rayon fibers are prone to aging under prolonged daylight conditions; while polyester and vinylon fibers may accelerate photochemical degradation when exposed to sunlight, reducing fabric durability. Therefore, it’s recommended to air-dry synthetic fabrics in cool, shaded areas.
3.Knitted fabrics like wool sweaters and sweaters: To prevent deformation, hang them in a mesh basket and dry in a well-ventilated area after washing. Alternatively, use two hangers to avoid excessive weight deformation during drying. You can also line them with bamboo poles or plastic tubes for support. If possible, lay them flat on other surfaces to dry. In short, avoid direct sunlight or heat exposure.
